Lane detection requires machine learning algorithms like image processing,deep learning etc, and python language can be used to implement the design. The major contribution done by ; Prof. ROHIT KALYANI Prof. NALINI IYER Prof. SHRADDHA REVANKAR Prof. GIRISH Prof. SUPRIYA The first step is to take input from the camera and pass it to raspberrypi. Use opencv module to do image processing to differentiate between lane and outter region. Calculate degree of curve with respect to the real time position of car. Send values to H-bridge motors based on the value of curve. The car is moving by itself on the given track, along with calculating the degree of curvature and is taking required amount of turn by adjusting the speed of left and right side wheels. This project offers a lane detection system, which is a crucial part of autonomous vehicle technology and recognizes the lane using image processing techniques. • Normalization of degree of curvature. • Limiting speed of motor.
