WHAT IS COMMUNICATION? Communication is the exchange of thoughts, messages, or information, as by speech, visuals, signals, writing, or behavior. Derived from the Latin word " communis ", meaning to share.
G.G. Brown. :- “Communication is transfer of information from one person to another, whether or not it elicits confidence. But the information transferred must be understandable to the receiver.” Fred G. Meyer. :- “Communication is the intercourse by words, letters or messages”
Pranav Mistry :- "Effective communication occurs only if the receiver understands the exact information or idea that the sender intended to transmit. Many of the problems that occur in an organization are the either the direct result of people failing to communicate and/or processes, which leads to confusion and can cause good plans to fail."

Purpose of Communication
It is a 2-way process. Communication process happens between or among two or more parties. (Sender and Receiver) Communication involves exchange of ideas, feelings, information, thoughts, and knowledge. Communication involves mutuality of understanding between Sender and Receiver . There are two types of Communication i.e., Verbal and Non-Verbal Communication.
