Accurate container inventories are important because:
•Replenishment requirements (PP1R010T) calculate using current inventories
•Container shortages may be easily identified by Chrysler CMS department
•092 Cardboard charges use inventory to determine validity
•Reflects active supplier participation in CMS and CRATES
Negative container inventories may:
•Repress replenishment requirements.
•Denied payment for 092 cardboard shipments
•DRIVe Violations

Supplier has not RECEIPTED container returns!
What if the Chrysler plant does not submit an ASN for
container return into CMS?
PSEUDO RECEIPT!!! PP1A030T (Option 07 from CMS menu)

Contact CMS Analyst to get the Chrysler plant to comply.
Receipting Container Returns into CMS
PP1A020T (option 06) and PP1A030T (option 07)
•Receipt immediately upon return.
•Do not wait until the end of the day, week, month.
•Keeps inventories positive.
•May avoid “EXCESS” returns from plants/ILC’s.
•Maintains “Quality” of service.
Select trailer by placing an “X” next to item line and keying
PF15 (shift + F3)
The PP1A020TReceipt Acknowledgement Screen (option 06) will appear.
If ASN is as received, place a “Y” next to
“ACKNOWLEDGE ENTIRE SHIPMENT?”
<ENTER> then PF9 to CONFIRM.
If ASN is not what is received, place a “N” next to
“ACKNOWLEDGE ENTIRE SHIPMENT”
Place a “C” under the “A” column, tab to
“RCV QTY” and enter received amount.
<ENTER> then PF9 to confirm.
DO NOT FORGET PF9 TO CONFIRM !

CRATES ON CMS!!!
PP1M510T (option 12)
PP1C020T (option 02 from CRATES inquiry menu)
•Displays CRATES information
•Suppliers can verify UNIT LOAD information
•Suppliers can check float
EDI REQUIREMENTS
Submit all containers, pallets, lids, dunnage, totes,
logs, trays, etc. in ASN.
Use 00000EXP for EXPENDABLE if unable to
ship assigned returnable container.
Separate packing slips are required if there are
returnable and expendable containers on the same
shipment.

Login to CRATES through eSupplierConnectand click
on the Chrysler logo
(http://esupplierconnect.com)
•Select Container Portal (CRATES/ACAP) under My
Applications.
•Enter USER ID and PASSWORD

•Query by part number, plant, and/or supplier code
•Query Packages
•ACAP requests to change plan of record packaging
•Inventory Adjustments to correct container inventory in
CMS
•Request Scrap/Repair of damaged Chrysler containers
