Never Bother what people will say about your decisions and execution of task if your gut feeling says that it is right.
Correct Speech and Conversation Use language which expresses your thoughts clearly beyond any possibility of misunderstanding. Your orders and instructions to your team should be so precise and perfect so that there exists no doubt in the recipients mind.
Approach towards Ladies and Elderly People Do not address friends’ wives or your senior person’s wife as Bhabhiji or Aunty. Your behaviour towards a lady should be so appropriate that your mother or sister should not feel bad about it. Speak directly while looking into the eyes so that they could build trust and confidence in you. Never steal glances. Gentlemen do not remain seated in the presence of ladies who are standing. When walking with a lady, a man should walk on the kerb side. When walking with his wife he should walk on her right. Ladies should never be kept waiting for an appointment. Gentlemen should offer his seat to adult women and elderly men in a public conveyance. Ladies should always be served first, irrespective of occasions. Never offer your hand to a lady for shaking hands. Instead wait for them to do so.
Social Responsibility Calls of enquiries are made during illness Calls on condolence should be shortest. Invitations are either formal or informal and must be either answered or attended.
Ethics Ethics is the science of morals, moral principles and rules of conduct. Concept of doing ones duty is central to ethics.
Values Values are principles, standards and judgement of what is right, wrong important to a person. Loyalty, respect, excellence, positive attitude, accountability, mission orientation, team work, professional knowledge and your personal character traits are some of the values. Even one value or principle in your life may make you stand outstanding. It will make difference in your life.
Mission Mission is the goal of your career, life and profession. To achieve your mission with integrity and excellence, direct all your resources, energies, capabilities and potential towards mission accomplishment.
Integrity Integrity is character trait of doing right thing always and every time whether anyone is watching or not. Integrity in whatever we do.
Excellence Excellence is achieving the best in whatever we do. It is accomplished by combining knowledge, skill and training into a powerful value. Excellence is contagious and spreads rapidly. So share excellence and become a mentor and a leader. Excellence in whatever we do. Resources – recruit, train, promote and retain those are excellent. Personal Excellence – Strive hard for excellence in personal development and personnel dealings. Mission - Integrity - Excellence - Make it a way of life.
Moral Values To educate a man in mind and not in morals is to educate a menace to society. Courage - To do right even at personal cost. Honesty – Don’t tell lie, don’t justify any deviation. Responsibility – A person with responsibility acknowledges one’s duties and acts accordingly. Accountability – Who do not enjoy on others credit and also accepts blame of team fault. Justice – Keep yourself other side of the table and talk Justice. Self-Respect – Respect oneself as a professional and human being.
Management Management – A manager or leader who manages resources and operations and accomplish the goal or Mission of an organisation or simply who get the job executed as per the orders and instructions of Organisation. Leader/Manager – Who has follower or team Management in three words - TRIPPLE M Right Man, Right Machine and Right Material Right Place, Right time and Right Quantity BUT with Best Quality
Professionalism Knowledge, Decision Making and Execution. IF you know the answer of three W’s perhaps you know the H i.e. What you need? Why do you need? When and Where do you need? You will automatically know how to do it by managing Personnel, Equipment and Time. Mission accomplishment with Integrity and Excellence.
Prime Aim of Your Life First and foremost responsibility in this world is to maintain your health. Without proper health, you may not achieve any of the above goals and missions. Even be selfish to maintain your health.
