•ECONOMIC ACTIVITIES:
Activities which are undertaken to earn money for a
living. Main motive behind these activities is to
create wealth and to earn income.
Examples-clerk working in office, shopkeeper
selling goods, worker working in a factory, doctor
running a clinic to earn a living and to acquire
money.
•NON-ECONOMIC ACTIVITIES:
Activities which are undertaken not for earning
material gains but for personal/mental satisfaction.
Examples-Mother cooking food at home, helping a
blind man to cross the road, working for social
cause, blood donation etc.
