History of IDSP Pakistan 1/2 The Institute of Development Studies and Practices in Pakistan ( IDSP Pakistan) was founded in 1998 by Dr Quratulain Bakhtiari and IDSP’s UCD properly launched on 25 th Dec, 2020. IDSP was subsequently funded by The Asia Foundation for three years. 18. 22 June, 2024 Education Support Program for Girls in Balochistan IDSP, with the financial assistance of Merit Grants for Young Women (MGYW), is sponsoring the educational cost of 20 girl students in Quetta, Baluchistan This sponsorship helps them to continue education without being considered as an economic burden on their parents or relatives IDSP regularly meets with the parents/ relatives/ caretakers of these girls and visits the schools where they are enrolled, to find out the progress of the girls from the principals and teachers of the schools Scholarships have currently enabled 64 girls to continue their education easily Helped 64 families to educate their daughters without financial difficulties 18

26. Introduction of NBC 22 June, 2024 26 Establishment of NBC to address the need gaps of HRD of Balochistan . By producing a quality workforce in the fields of engineering and sciences. The project was initiated under the auspices of the Chief Minister of Balochistan and Chief of Army Staff to establish a federal footprint in the provincial educational landscape to assure the people of Balochistan of national support in their socio-economic development.
