FENCE – II Foundation – Reinforced Concrete Inverted T-Beam Wall – 9’’ sandcrete blockwork/Plastering Columns – 230mm x 300mm reinforced column Coping – Reinforced concrete coping C. SAND FILLING Sand filling to make up level, height 600mm with a 30% compaction factor commencing from ground level

ISSUES AND OBSERVATIONS Fence Tilt – It was observed that the fence sloped against its vertical alignment and this could have been caused by the following reasons – The used of sandcrete walls as against the galvanized steel mesh, thus causing an over bearing effect on the soil. Low bearing capacity of the soil Earth movement caused by the use machines and equipment during sandfilling   F. ACTIONS Affected walls as been marked and demolition of such tilted walls have commenced.
