BIODIVERSITY

What is Biodiversity? The term Biodiversity was first coined by Walter G. Rosen in 1986. The word Biodiversity originates from the Greek word BIOS = LIFE and Latin word DIVERSITAS = VARIETY or DIFFERENCE.

What is Biodiversity? The whole word BIO DIVERSITY generally therefore means: VARIETY OF LIFE. Biodiversity is the degree of variation of life. It is a measure of the variety of organisms  present in different ecosystems.

Biodiversity Biodiversity, which refers to the range of life forms in an ecosystem, biome, or across the Earth, is essential for preserving the well-being and equilibrium of ecosystems. This encompasses genetic diversity within species, diversity between species, and diversity of ecosystems.

Different Types of Biodiversity 01 03 02 Genetic diversity Ecosystem diversity Species diversity

Ecosystem diversity Ecosystem diversity  refers to the diversity of a place at the level of ecosystems. The term differs from biodiversity, which refers to variation in species rather than ecosystems .

Species diversity Species Diversity  is the effective number of different species that are represented in a collection of individuals

Genetic Biodiversity Genetic diversity , the level of biodiversity refers to the total number of genetic characteristics in the genetic makeup of a species.

Divide the content Venus has a beautiful name and is the second planet from the Sun. It’s hot and has a poisonous atmosphere Mercury is the closest planet to the Sun and the smallest one in the Solar System—it’s only a bit larger than the Moon Mercury Venus

Here are three important ideas Mercury is the closest planet to the Sun and the smallest of them all Venus has a beautiful name and is the second planet from the Sun Despite being red, Mars is actually a cold place. It’s full of iron oxide dust Mercury Venus Mars

Divide the content in four ideas Mars is actually a very cold place Venus has extremely high temperatures Jupiter is the biggest planet of them all Saturn is a gas giant and has several rings Mars Jupiter Venus Saturn

Venus has extremely high temperatures Neptune is the farthest planet from the Sun Reviewing concepts is a good idea Mars is actually a very cold place Mercury is the closest planet to the Sun Saturn is a gas giant with several rings Jupiter is the biggest planet of them all Mars Venus Neptune Mercury Saturn Jupiter

Awesome words

“This is a quote, words full of wisdom that someone important said and can make the reader get inspired” —Someone Famous

A picture is worth a thousand words

A picture always reinforces the concept Images reveal large amounts of data, so remember: use an image instead of a long text. Your audience will appreciate it

4,498,300,000 Big numbers catch your audience’s attention

Jupiter’s rotation period 9h 55m 23s 333,000 The Sun’s mass compared to Earth’s 386,000 km Distance between Earth and the Moon

Let’s use some percentages Mercury is the closest planet to the Sun and the smallest of them all Mercury Venus has a beautiful name and is the second planet from the Sun Venus Despite being red, Mars is actually a cold place. It’s full of iron oxide dust Mars 20% 30% 50%

Venus This is a map Venus has a beautiful name and is the second planet from the Sun. It’s terribly hot, even hotter than Mercury, and its atmosphere is extremely poisonous. It’s the second-brightest natural object in the night sky after the Moon. Venus has a toxic atmosphere Venus has extremely high temperatures Venus has a beautiful name

A timeline always works well Venus Venus is the second planet from the Sun Earth Earth is the planet on which we all live Mars Despite being red, Mars is a very cold place Jupiter Jupiter is the biggest planet of them all Mercury Mercury is the closest planet to the Sun

Venus Venus has extremely high temperatures Mercury Mars is actually a very cold place Mercury is the closest planet to the Sun Saturn Saturn is a gas giant and has several rings Mars Make your idea understandable

Represent your data in a clear way Conservation indicator Percentage of conservation Forest cover 80% Earth is the planet with life Protected areas coverage 18% Venus has a toxic atmosphere Endemism in birds 1.5% Mercury is a small planet Conservation pledges 65% Mars is made of basalt Marine and coastal protection 50% Jupiter is a huge gas giant Sustainable forestry practices 30% Saturn is the ringed planet Protected area management 70% Neptune is far away from us
