His masterwork was Sagrada
Família

The Sagrada Familia
construction began in 1883, but
the church remained unfinished
during Gaudi´s lifetime. The
Sagrada Familia has eighteen
tall towers.

Gaudi worked on many other
projects throughout Barcelona:
CASA BATLLÓ
Casa Batlló was built between 1904 to 1906 in
Passeig de Gracia 43, Barcelona by Antony
Gaudi.
Gaudi used colours and shapes found in
marine life as inspiration for his creativity to
build this house.
From the outside of the façade of casa Batlló
looks like it has been made from skulls and
bones. The "skulls" are in fact balconies and
the "bones" are supporting pillars.
Gaudi asked Josep Batlló to build this house.
Nowadays anybody lives there. It is only a
tourist house visited by people of all the world.

La Pedrera, located on the Passeig
de Gracia.

He was run down
by a tramway.
He died on 10th of June in 1926 in
Barcelona.
