3. Basic Explanation of Biological Practicum Biochemical is a part of an chemical study wich is studying about chemical process and molecular wich is happened on every single creature. This field combines the principles of chemistry and biology to understand the structure and function of molecules such as proteins, enzymes, nucleic acids, carbohydrates, and lipids . Biochemistry also studies how these molecules interact in various biological processes, such as metabolism, DNA replication, and cellular signal transmission. The goal is to understand the basic mechanisms of life at the molecular level

They accelerate the rate of chemical reactions by lowering the activation energy, without permanently changing in the process. Enzymes are very specific to the substrate they catalyze and work under certain conditions such as pH and temperature. Coenzymes are small organic molecules that function as helpers or cofactors of enzymes. They help enzymes in catalysis by carrying certain atoms or groups of atoms from one reaction to another. An example of a coenzyme is NAD+ ( nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide) which plays a role in redox reactions.
