2. Birds and their Features Birds  are beautiful animals that can fly. Their body is divided into three parts: – head, Trunk, and tail. They have two pairs of limbs – the legs and the wings. Birds have legs, but no hands.  Their wings are covered with feathers. Many birds can fly with the help of their wings. The Mouth of a bird is called a beak. But they don’t have teeth. But birds itself distinguish with each other.  The following are the features that distinguish birds from other animals and themselves too. Feathers Beak Feet and Claws

3. Different kinds of feathers There are three kinds of feathers: – Flight feathers  – Flight feathers help birds to fly. They are found on the wings and the tail. Body feathers  – Body feathers are colored feathers, which cover the body of the bird. Down feathers  – Down feathers are soft and fluffy feathers found close to the body of a bird. They help birds to keep their bodies warm.

4. If We were a Bird If I were a bird , there would not be any kind of   tension, evil, corruption etc . in my world. I played with the winds free from  pollution i n the open sky and kept flying away in the sky with singing the song .When I was flying in the sky, I would be very happy to see the   mountains, waterfalls, forests, humans, etc . and with that, I would feel myself the best. But all this is only my own imagination. And we will not be able to get out of the evil of this world just by imagining. We will all have to work together to eradicate all the evils of this world and  we have to keep our mother earth as clean and beautiful as the sky so that we too can spend our lives happily like bird.

5. My favorite Bird Parrot is my favorite bird. It is a very beautiful bird. Its body is covered with green feathers. Its wings are green which look very pretty when it flies. The parrot eats small fruits such as berries, grapes, etc. Parrots also eat rice, mangoes and even chilli . The parrot has a thick red beak which is curved. There is a black circle around its neck. Parrots are very good friends with people and can mimic human speech. Thus it can be said that the parrots are very intelligent and beautiful birds. P arrots are majestic and intelligent birds. They are very unique creatures and must be protected from human cruelties.
