7. INTERDUCTION Srinivasa Edifice PVT LTD was estlablished in 1984 and the company was located in both AP&TS states. The company is providing services in construction of public buildings,road works and railway works.the company have their own equipment like crusher bitmun plant and meachinery. Their have well educated and experinced engineers and well skilled operators and labour.the company was taken Government projects.

8. WET MIX MACADAM It consists of laying spreading and compacting clean, crushed, well-graded granular materials on a prepared and approved Granular sub-Base. The material is well mixed with water and rolled to a dense mass. It is constructed with 125 MM thickness and width of 9M four members are worked in wmm top per day they will finished 400-500M length and each person charges 500rs per day.

11. So by keeping in view of all these factors we considered the Musunuru mandal as Study area.

BROOMING The action of removing dust or dirt from a surface with a bristle brush or another object that performs the same function, to help the bonding of the material used for the surface. Brooming will clean the dust between aggregate beacause of prime coat will stick easily and give more strength . one persons will operate bromming they will finish around 900-1000M .per day they charged 550rs .

13. So by keeping in view of all these factors we considered the Musunuru mandal as Study area.

Prime Coat prime coat is the application of a suitable bituminous binder applied to a non-bituminous granular base as a preliminary treatment before the application of a bituminous surfacing. prime coat is mixing of 1Barrel of slow setting (ss-1) . prime coat curing period is 24 hours after we spary tack coat.

15. So by keeping in view of all these factors we considered the MusunuasStudyar . Tack coat Tack coat is a sprayed application of an asphalt binder upon an existing asphalt or Portland cement concrete pavement prior to an overlay, or between layers of new asphalt concrete. Tack coat is mixing of 1 barrel of rapid setting (RS-1) . Tack coat is sparing after 10 min will started DBM layer.

16. An asphalt batch mix plant starts its work by heating and weighing aggregates, followed by heating and weighing bitumen. The batch mix is then considered with filler material, and towards the end, aggregates, filler material and bitumen are mixed to create a hot mix of asphalt.

17. So by keeping in view of all these factors we considered. Dense Bituminous Macadam (DBM) is a binder course used for roads with more number of heavy commercial vehicles and a close-graded premix material having a voids content of 5-10 per cent. Bitumen road is a type of pavement made from bitumen, which is a highly viscous, black, sticky and dense form of petroleum. Bitumen roads are among the most commonly used types of roads worldwide, and they are known for their durability and resilience. DENSE BITUMINOUS MACADAM

18. Width of the DBM IS 9 M and Thickness of DBM Layer is 50MM and Each DBM Truck Carries 30 Tons The cost Around 1,80,000rs. DBM is mixing of bitumin,stone dust and course aggregate is 20MM the temparature of dbm is 150-165c. DBM is laying 70MM thickness and 30 % will be compacted final DBM is 50MM thickness. 7 members worked in DBM laying each person charges 800rs per day.

CONCLUSION I Have completed my summer internship in SRINIVASA EDIFICE PVT LTD in bapatla town. ihave completed wmm top and i completed laying of DBM thickness is 50mm and width is 9m and i have completed 4 km length. I have learn so much of knowledge in highways and i will improve my technical skills. The construction is laid over total length is (184+200 -191+100) 6.9 KM project estimated time is 14 months and Total cost of the project is 59 crores.
