motherboard called a CPU BLADE .motherboard called a CPU BLADE .
IN GENERAL TREMS:IN GENERAL TREMS:
 A Blade Server is a computer system on a
motherboard, which includes processor(s), memory,
a network connection and sometimes storage.

 The blade idea is to address the needs of large scale
computing centers to reduce space requirements for
application servers and lower costs.
 Blades can be added as required, often as "hot pluggable"
units of computing as they share a common high speed bus.
CPU Blades share common resources such as cabling,
power supply and cooling fans.
 Blade technology places a series of computers vertically in
an enclosure called a CAGE which is then placed on a rack in
the server room.
