Given the nature of our business (career consulting), Career Angels
wants and needs to understand how macroeconomic changes
actually influence the job market. We, therefore, record, process
and analyze e.g. unemployment levels or the number of published
job ads on LinkedIn. So far we have:
gathered 19 446 data points
received over 500 insights from Executives & HR Directors
published 110 monthly reports, 925 daily updates & 13 special
reports tracked 80 countries around the world for 51 months!

Why do we do that? Who can find our data useful?
From the employer's perspective: bigger demand for
candidates = salaries and/or benefit packages go up.
The "post and pray" approach might not work. On the
other hand, more candidates, more choice, more
negotiation flexibility.
From the candidate's perspective: bigger demand
= "less effort" put into job search (less time, more space
to negotiate salary).
