How does human activity affect the living organisms in the bay?

Blue Crab Blue Crabs are important because many fishermen make money selling the crabs to restaurants.

Food Blue crabs eat soft crabs, worms, dead fish, oysters, and clams. Blue crabs are eaten by fish, birds, and other crabs. In deeper water crabs are eaten by rays and sharks also.

Habitat In warm weather, crabs live in shallow water. In the winter, they live in the deeper water. Male crabs live in the fresh water. Female crabs live in the saltier water of the bay. Blue crabs are bottom-dwellers that use bay grass as their homes.

Physical Characteristics The color of crabs is green to bluish green Bright blue claws Females have red on the tip of the claws Back legs are shaped like paddles 3 pairs of walking legs Crabs have hard shells

How will human activity affect the Blue Crab in the bay? If people keep putting chemicals in the bay, the crabs will die and then there will be less crabs to eat. That would not be good for the bay. If there are no more crabs, then the things that eat the crabs will die.
