BLUETOOTH TECHNOLOGY Presented by 953622105026

Introduction Bluetooth is  a wireless technology that uses a radio frequency to share data over a short distance, eliminating the need for wires . Bluetooth on mobile device to share documents or to connect with other Bluetooth-enabled devices. In simple words bluetooth  allows devices to communicate with each other without cables or wires.

Discovery & Naming In 1989 Dr.Nils Rydbeck and Dr.Johan Ullman has the revolutionary idea of pair of wireless head sets. They later brought Dr.Japp Haartson develop the project. After some years of work,In 1999 they presented first wireless headset to the world. At comdex computer exposition and trade show in Las Vegas. The name bluetooth comes from blue colour decaying tooth of King Harald Gormson .

How it works Consider a smart phone is connected to wireless headset via bluetooth and play music millions of 0’s and 1’s are transmitted. For example, traffic lights are red , yellow and green each colour has different wavelength. Red- 700nm, yellow- 570nm, Green-540nm Like wise bluetooth has the wavelength of 123mm which cannot be seen. 1-121mm,0-124mm.

Waves transmitted by phones and connected to wireless devices via bluetooth .

Operations Bluetooth operates 120.7mm to 124.9mm wave length It is commonly reffered to 2.4 to 2.485GHz 79 channels are there we can connect through any signal. Each has specific wave length for each zeros and ones

Components while transmission occurs Messages which are transmitting called packets. First 72 bits are “Access codes” that will synchronise your smart phones and ear buds. Next 54 bits are the “Header” which provides details as to the information being sent. Last 500 bits are actually the information or payload.

Analogy

Not all 79 channels are used different generation bluetooth use different sets of channels. Bluetooth requires atleast 20 channels Hopping between channels is called “Frequency of Hopping. Only smartphones and ear buds know the sequence of channels so it can communicate without any interruption.
