Water Cycle
Water Cycle Describe the continuous movement of water on above, and below the surface of the earth. Its includes processes like evaporation, condensation, precipitation, and collection, which together ensure the circulation and distribution of water throughout the planets ecosystem.
The Different Process of Water Cycle
EVAPORATION Occurs when sunlight warms the surface of the water. The heat from the sun causes the water to evaporate from seas, streams, lakes, ocean and other bodies of water. The liquid water on the earths surface turns into gas; it is called water vapor and rising into the atmosphere.
CONDENSATION Warm water rises through the earth’s atmosphere. As the water vapor rises higher and higher, the cold air in the atmosphere causes it to turn back into liquid water called moist or droplets, forming clouds.
PRECIPITATION When clouds become full of the droplets, it fall from the sky as rain or snow.
COLLECTION This is the final stage of water cycle where is the water temporarily collected and stored. As water returns to the earth surface, it will run-off into our bodies of water like rives, lake, oceans, ponds and even end up on the land, which in turn becomes a part of the groundwater
