2. Informative , Consultative & Delegative Participation Management holds a meeting to inform employees about changes in OSH policies and procedures. Distributing safety reports, incident data, or training materials to employees. Making relevant OSH documents available for employees to review.
2. Informative, Consultative & Delegative Participation Conducting regular feedback sessions where employees can provide input on OSH practices and suggest improvements. Forming a safety committee where employees and management meet to discuss OSH issues and solutions. Surveys or suggestion boxes to gather employee input on OSH policies and initiatives.
2. Informative, Consultative & Delegative Participation Self-directed work teams where employees have the authority to make decisions regarding their tasks, including safety measures. Empowering employees to develop and implement OSH programs and initiatives without constant supervision.
3. Formal & Info rm al Participation Formal participation is usually established according to legal regulations and specific rules or procedures. Informal solutions are based on discussions and exchange of views between managers and employees.

Implementing Effective Participation Development of organizational climate motivating workers’ participation; this can be achieved particularly by creating attitudes of cooperation, mutual respect and trust between management and workers ; Ensuring workers ’ ability to participate ; this can be achieved particularly by appropriately defined subject of participation and providing workers with necessary training ;
Implementing Effective Participation Introducing effective top-down and bottom-up communication and ensuring that workers will receive responses to their questions and proposals; Ensuring that participation adversely affects neither workers nor managers;
Implementing Effective Participation Ensuring adequate resources and time for participation; providing appropriate trainings for managers and workers and their health and safety representatives including trainings in OSH-related matters and negotiations skills.
