Where is it situated
Located in the lower neck and upper shoulder region. Begins at the level of nerve roots emerging from the spinal cord between the C5 and T1 vertebrae Extends across the shoulder area to the armpit Two main regions: Supraclavicular Region Infraclavicular Region
Functions Motor Functions : Regulation of muscle activity, allowing to perform voluntary movements such as lifting, flexing and extending and involuntary movements such as reflexes Sensory Functions : Receiving and transmitting sensory information from the body to the brain ,the brachial plexus provides sensory innervation to the skin of the upper limb
