Rio de Janeiro Rio de Janeiro is well known for the beauty of its beaches and of its peaks, ridges, and hills—all partly covered by tropical forests. The city is a centre of leisure for Brazilian and foreign tourists, and people wearing bathing suits can be seen walking in the streets and along the beaches or traveling on the city’s buses.

Sao Paulo Sao Paulo is the most populous city in Brazil, and is the capital of the state of São Paulo, the most populous and wealthiest Brazilian state, located in the country's Southeast Region. Capoeira Capoeira (pronounced cap-wearer) is a Brazilian martial art form, combining self- defence , acrobatics, dance, music and song. It was developed by slaves who used it to disguise the fact that they were practising fight moves.

Farofa F arofa is a traditional Brazilian side dish made with toasted yuca flour/cassava flour, or how we call it in Portuguese farinha de mandioca .

Acaraje Acaraje is a type of fritter made from cowpeas or beans (black eye peas). It is found throughout West African, Caribbean, and Brazilian cuisines.

Vatapa Vatapá is an Afro-Brazilian dish made from bread, shrimp, coconut milk, finely ground peanuts and palm oil mashed into a creamy paste.

Brigadeiro The brigadeiro is a traditional Brazilian dessert. While the original brigadeiro recipe contained eggs, these days the basic brigadeiro is made up of 3 simple ingredients: condensed milk, butter, and cocoa powder. The mixture is then rolled and then covered in sprinkles or another topping.

Bolo de Rolo Bolo de rolo is a typical Brazilian dessert, from Pernambuco state. The cake batter is made with flour, eggs, butter and sugar. This dough is wrapped with a layer of guava paste, giving the appearance of a swiss roll with much thinner layers. It is recognized as a national dish in Brazilian law.

Quindim Quindum is a popular Brazilian baked dessert with Portuguese heritage, made chiefly from sugar, egg yolks and ground coconut.

Brazil has a desert and it is called Brazil‘s Sahara desert. Lençóis Maranhenses is a vast national park made up of white sand dunes with deep-blue lakes in between them.

Pico do Jaraguá,in the northern state of Amazonas, the biggest Brazilian mountain. It is 2995,30 m high .

The Carnival in Rio de Janeiro (Portuguese: Carnaval do Rio de Janeiro) is a festival held every year before Lent; it is considered the biggest carnival in the world, with two million people per day on the streets. The first Carnival festival in Rio occurred in 1723.

The typical Rio carnival parade is filled with revelers, floats, and adornments from numerous samba schools which are located in Rio (more than 200 approximately, divided into five leagues/divisions). A samba school is composed of a collaboration of local neighbours that want to attend the carnival together, with some kind of regional, geographical and common background .
