2. The Concept of Kṣatriya in Hindu Civilization K ṣatriya is the second class in the concept of catur varṇa . The Kūrma Purāṇa mentions they were created from the hand of Brahma (a symbol of God depicted as the Cosmic Man or Purusa ). K ṣatriya are synonymous with the corps of law enforcement and righteousness .

3. The Concept of Kṣatriya in Hindu Civilization The duties of the kṣatriya are dāna (doing charity), adhyayana (learning), and performing yajña (holy sacrifice). However, their main duty is to protect the civilization and state, to punish the wicked, and to protect the good. K ṣatriyas have a very important duty in building prosperity and protecting the country.

In addition, a ksatriya ’ s patriotic attitude which loves the homeland must also be built on all State officials who control State politics including the Head of State, Head of Region, Provincial Legislative Council), lawyers, bureaucrats, and others. Those who are karmically destined ( karmawasana ) to be born as kṣatriya , whether by bloodline, ability, or a combination of both, should realize and fulfill the call of duty as kṣatriyas who will fight for Mother Earth, for the welfare and security of the people, and for the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia. To ignite the latent kṣatriya character in each of the State apparatus. I n the Hindu environment, the words Bauddhika Kṣatriya or in other expressions Intellectual Kṣatriya , Intellectual Warrior are retrieved.

6. Arthaśāstra Ancient Indian history is famous for a political treatise called Arthaśāstra with the central figure being Cāṇakya . He has several other names, including Kautilya and Visnugupta . The Arthaśāstra contains various aspects of governance, starting with the duties and daily life of a king to the smallest details of administrative machinery and sovereignty issues, methods of warfare, ways to deal with neighbouring states, different political institutions, taxation systems, local government, and judicial administration systems
