What Is Psychological Abuse?
Psychological abuse more commonly known as mental
abuse is the act of using verbal communication to
influence or harm one's thought process throughout
day to day life.

●Nearly 48.4% of all women and 48.8% of all men in the
United States experience psychological abuse.
●Around 95% of abusers mentally harass their partners.
●4 in 10 women and 4 in 10 men have experienced a form
of coercive control.
●Abuse is also another way PTSD can form within a
person's mentality

Possible Solution
●Better Communication within relationships whether it’s with
family, friends, and/or therapists
●Practicing self-advocacy
●Educating yourself about abuse and this in turn will give you
the insight to a situation
●Set boundaries within your relationship knowing your limits
can help set you apart towards those red-flags especially if
your partner isn’t respecting them
