4 Economic responsibility is the foundation of CSR. It refer to a company duty to be profitable, produce goods and services that society needs, and contribute to the nation's economic development. Businesses must operate value to stakeholders . Ex: A mobile phone company produces affordable and high-quality devices that meet customers needs while creating jobs and earning profit. Economic Responsibility

Legal Responsibility 5 Legal Responsibility means obeying the laws and regulations of the country. Companies must respect labor laws, pay tax, ensure workplace safety and protect consumer rights. A business that files its taxes on time, sign legal contract with employees and follows environmental regulation demonstrates legal responsibility. Ex: ABC construction company failed to provide insurance to its workers. The government fined the company for violating labor laws.

Ethical Responsibility 6 Ethical Responsibility goes beyond what is legally required. It involves doing what is right, fair, and just even when not enforced by law. It focuses on honesty, transparency, respect and fairness toward all stakeholders. Ex: A food company decides to improve its product ingredients to make them healthier for consumer, even the law does not required it.

Philanthropic Responsibility 7 Philanthropic (humanitarian) Responsibility refers to voluntary actions that promote the welfare of society. This includes donating to charities, supporting education, or helping environmental causes. Its not required by law but reflect a company's commitment to being a good corporate citizen. Ex: A bank creates a scholarship fund to support poor and talented students. Ex: Roshan Telecom in Afghanistan built computer labs for public schools and supported community projects. These actions did not bring direct profit but improved the company image.

8 In last the key point : According to Ferrell , an ethically responsible business integrates all four dimensions ( Economic,Legal,Ethical and philanthropic) to ensure sustainable success . Profit alone is not enough; long term reputation and trust come from balancing responsibility toward stakeholders, law ethics and society.
