CABLE INSTALLATION PLAN 14 DETAIL STEP OF CABLE PULLING WORK GENERAL The applicable drawings and requirements shall be reviewed before installation of Power and Control Cables. If any deviations are occurred in the result of the drawing review, it shall be informed to manufacturers and engineering department to clear this matter . Reference documents . This method statement should be read in conjunction with the latest approved revisions of following documents: Issued for Construction Drawings Issued for Cable Schedule Power, Control & Instrument Issued for Drum Cable Power, Control & Instrument Project Quality Plan Project HSE Plan

CABLE INSTALLATION PLAN 15 DETAIL STEP OF CABLE PULLING WORK EQUIPMENT HANDLING & TRANSPORTATION All equipments type, size, and quantity shall be checked before loading at Kariangau Warehouse . Material shall be handled with care and protected from damage during the storage and transportation. Equipment certificate shall be prepared if required. Ensure there are no damage occur when loading and transporting material to the site area. When unloading material at site area, make sure all permit is prepared and approved. Make sure not to causing damage to the material package. Laydown area must be clear and enough space for the material to be laid. Check all material completeness (main material and accessories). When storing material at laydown area make sure using proper preservation to avoid damage during storing time. Pay attention to the material package as they may be damaged over time during storing due to weather condition.

CABLE INSTALLATION PLAN 16 DETAIL STEP OF CABLE PULLING WORK PREPARATION Manpower mobilization and ID badge procedure shall be started at least 2 weeks before work. All reference documents (procedure, technical specification and drawings) and permit (JSA and Permit to Work) shall be completed upon installation work and ensure all have been approved for construction. All required heavy equipment also shall be passed Third Party and RDMP JO Inspection before ready use to work. The Operator and rigger shall be trained and their license are checked. Ensure that the work area is ready (cable routes) and safe to start the installation of Power & Control Cables. Check and ensure that shop drawings and materials ready to use for installation are latest and approved for construction. Ensure that the materials and accessories received from site store for the installation of Power & Control Cables and accessories are free of rusty parts and damages The correct size and type of Power & Control Cables & accessories shall be ascertained from the approved shop drawings prior to installation

CABLE INSTALLATION PLAN 17 DETAIL STEP OF CABLE PULLING WORK INSTALLATION Mark the route of Power & Control Cables as per approved shop drawings. The route of Power & Control Cables that has to be interfere with other services shall be coordinate by the RDMP JO Field Engineer. Ensure the Numbering cable system, cable type & Core identification cable as per approved cable schedule and Project Requirement. Make sure Power & Control Cables are installed in cable race way system detail at Underground duct bank, Cable tray or cable conduit. Power & Control Cables installed on Local Control panel shall be supported using component / accessories inside panel. Part of Power & Control Cables, inside Junction Box or Panel or Glandbox shall be made cable gland for protecting cable. Power & Control Cables runs shall be arrange so that the lid is always inside cable ladder / tray. Lid shall be fixed to the pull box for easy laying cable and made quick fix type clips. Power & Control Cables must be completed with cable numbering system for easy identification for function. cable numbering included for phase element , numbering element, voltage service level , cubicle number and system /installation code power supply control/instrument Power & Control Cables shall be completed with Core identification for easier identification cable for level cable at application installation Power & Control Cables installation must be refer to cable schedule installation from drawing area and function Cable laying record/report must be made immediately. The report at least shall contain following information : Cable Tag, Cable Drum No. to be used, From-To Equipment, Actual Laying Length and Date of Pulling. Mark up drawing of cable route also shall be made. All of these data shall be referred to Cable Schedule. Manual pulling using hand without use of cable pulling machine, shall be restricted to perform, unless in certain condition when it is impossible to use cable pulling machine. Running cable rollers must be placed properly every 2 to 5 meter on the cable tray. Use at least four corner rollers to guide the cable around a tray corner while not exceeding the minimum bending radius.

CABLE INSTALLATION PLAN 18 DETAIL STEP OF CABLE PULLING WORK In case pull the cables with a winch machine, make sure that cables could hold the pulling forces without sustaining damage. When laying three cables in flat formation, the clearance between cables should be at least the same as the cable diameter. INSPECTION Upon completion of the installation, construction engineer shall notify QC engineer for the required inspection to assure correct erection & installation as per the requirements. All inspection and testing shall be performed in accordance with the inspection and test plan and the results shall be documented on the inspection and test report. Competent QA/QC inspectors shall carry out/witness inspection and testing of all installation work and also conduct a final inspection upon completion of the installation in accordance with the ITP for Power & Control Cables Installation
