Relations Complementary : to Belladonna, which is the acute of Calcarea Calcarea acts best: before Lycopodium , Nux ., Phosphorus, Silicea It follows: Acid nitricum , Pulsatilla , Sulphur (especially if pupils are dilated); is followed by, Kali bichromicum in nasal catarrh. Compatible : before Lyc ., Nux , Phos ., Plat., Sil . ; after Cham., Nit. ac., Nux , Puls ., Sulph . (especially if pupils dilate). Incompatible : before Nit. ac. and Sulph ., according to Hahnemann. Precautions According to Hahnemann, Calcarea must not be used before Acid nitricum and Sulph .; may produce unnecessary complications. In children it may be often repeated. In aged people should not be repeated ; especially if the first dose benefited, it will usually do harm. Dr Saroj Sawant
