CALIFORNIA
•California is a state located on the
West Coast of the United States.
•It is the most populous U.S. State,
with 39 million people, and the third
largest state by area.
• The climate ranges from subarctic
to subtropical. The temperature
depends on the place (if is in the coast
or in the centre).

•Sacramento is the
capital of California,
but Los Ángeles is the
most populous city.
•California is also called
“The golden state”
because of some of its
landscape in the
summer.

•Most of the people in California speak English,
which is the official language. But some californians
speak Spanish, that is the second language in this
state.
•In terms of religion, most people are protestant.
This is Mission San Diego
Alcalá, one of the first
Spanish missions in
California.

•The average household income is $61,021.
•It is a state that has a very important industry in
sectors such as aeronautic, spacial technique,
information technology, electronics...

•One of the places that
you can visit, is
probably the California
Memorial Stadium.
•An old californian
famous team is St. Louis
Rams.
•Another good place to
visit is Borrego Springs in
San Diego.

•One good option is to
go surfing, if you like
sports like that.
•This state has
magnificent coasts to
practise this sport.
•But if you prefer
studying , California
has some of the most
relevant universities in
the USA.

Fame”, which is a
sidewalk along the
Hollywood Boulevard
with more than 2000
stars with the names of
the most relevant
celebrities.

CALIFORNIA
•Most of the famous people from California are
actors such as:
- Leonardo DiCaprio (actor)
-Angelina Jolie (actress)
-Marilyn Monroe (actress)
