•Founded in 1946 as the Distributive
Education Clubs of America
•By the 1990’s, the organization had evolved
into DECA – An Association of Marketing
Students
•Today, DECA prepares emerging leaders and
entrepreneurs for careers in marketing,
finance, hospitality and management

boasts over 2,900
members in over 60
chapters from Eureka to
San Diego!
•California DECA

event winners of any
