INTRODUCTION 01 02 Capacity development is the process of improving the abilities, skills, and knowledge of extension professionals, organizations, and institutions to achieve their goals and objectives. Effective capacity development strategies are essential for achieving sustainable development and improving performance in extension education. Capacity development strategies in extension education involve a range of approaches, including academic programs, laboratory training, activity-based learning, action research, personal development, and organizational development.

1 02 ACADEMIC STRATEGY Focuses on developing knowledge, skills, and competencies of extension professionals through formal education and training programs. Objectives : Improve academic qualifications and credentials of extension professionals. Enhance research and analytical skills in extension education. Develop expertise in specific areas of extension education.

LABORATORY STRATEGY 01 02 Focuses on developing practical skills and competencies of extension professionals through hands-on experience and experimentation. Objectives : - Improve technical skills and expertise of extension professionals. - Enhance problem-solving and analytical skills in extension education. - Develop innovative solutions and products for extension education.

Activity Strategy Focuses on developing skills and competencies of extension professionals through participation in specific activities and projects.
