The battle between the Center Township Small Claims Court and the Township Constable’s Office is heating up.
Last week, Center Township Small Claims Court Judge Brenda Roper issued an emergency order that no longer allows Constable Denise Paul Hatch to do personal service for the Court.

COMES NOW that the elected Constable of the Marion County, IN, Center Township,
Denise Paul Hatch, has communicated to this Court the official intentrefusal not to perform

the duties of Constable of Center Township, Mar

1» County, Indiana as described under IC 33-
34-6-4(b) (2) and (3) (C), specifically, to serve the courts personal service of process and to

carry out the orders ofthe Court, respectfully. Since on or about October 10, 2023, said official

has filed to maintain any meaningful contact with the Court so that personal service of process

and orders of the Cour can be completed. In addition, he official has made statements to the

general public on October 12-13, 2023 ofthe official intent and awarenes of obligations to
complete asks us defined by Indians law but hes chosen not o perform the Gute of office.
