The scheme was extended to the17 cities all over the India ( allahabad,ahmedabad , bangalore,mumbai,kolkata,hyderbad,jaipur , jabalpur , lucknow ,Chennai , westbengal , nagpur , patna , pune , kanpur,guwahati , thiruvananthapuram .

People covered in CGHS All central government servant. Pensioners. Member and ex-member of Parliament. Judges of the Supreme court and high court. Freedom fighter. Ex-governors and Ex-vice President of India.
Components of the scheme The dispensary services including domiciliary care (medical care) Polyclinic and hospital v level including X ray. ECG and laboratory examination. V hospitalization(To place in a hospital for treatment, care, or observation.). Main key point is to SUPPLY MEDICINES AND OTHER REQUIREMENT AND HEALTH EDUCATION TO BENEFICIARIES.
