Component mount on the surface of the PCB 2) PTH – Pin Through Hole Size much bigger than SMD component and have lead that penetrate through the PCB Normally this component will be insert by manual 3) CRD – Component Reference Designator Location of the component on the PCBA

6. POLARITY Component mounted on the PCBA has its own function and some of the components have polarity Direction of mounted component must follow based on Positive (+) and Negative (-) terminal of the component and tally with the layout on the PCBA +

7. ORIENTATION Same concept with polarity but orientation is the direction of the component based on the body marking or symbol on the component Need to tally with the layout on the PCB
