Chile is a country located in the
extreme southwest of South America. Its
official name is Republic of Chile and
its capital is Santiago de Chile,
bounded on the north by Peru, on the
east by Bolivia and Argentina, and
south by the Drake Passage.

It has around 17 million inhabitants

Michelle Bachelet took over as
president of Chile, March 11, 2006,
becoming the first woman to rule the
country

The indigenous cuisine includes dishes
from Chile - as humitas
Currency: Chilean Peso

The official language is Spanish in
Chile, which is spoken by most people
and most of what you talk like a
moderately high rate of 4.1% of the
Chilean population is considered
indigenous languages follows: Aymara,
Mapudungun, Quechua , Rapa Nui,

Travel: Easter Island or Rapa Niu is
located in the Pacific Ocean and is the
furthest from the continent. Important
is that there are still pascuense
culture by the constant practice of the
customs of the locals.
