2. B –CELL Chronic lymphocytic leukemia/Small lymphocytic lymphoma Hairy cell leukemia Splenic B-cell lymphoma/leukemia with prominent nucleoli T-CELL T cell large granular lymphocytic leukaemia T cell prolymphocytic leukemia Adult T cell leukemia /lymphoma Sezary syndrome CLASSIFICATION

3. Mean age: 72 years , Male:Female ratio is 2:1 Lymphodenopathy Pallor , Dyspnea , bruising , purpura Spleenomegaly Immunosuppression CLINICAL FEATURES

4. Lymphocytosis : Absolute clonal B cell lymphocyte count count is >5 x10*9 & may be 300 x10*9 or more . PS: 70-99% small lymphocytes, smudge or smear cells . Immunophenotype : Brightly positive (CD5 ,CD23) . shows low levels of CD20, CD22 , CD79b . CD10 & FMC7 are negative Laboratory Findings

5. Bone marrow Aspirate : Lymphocytic replacement of marrow elememts Trephine Biopsy: Nodular , Diffuse or Interstitial involvement by lymhocyte Others: Autoimmune hemolytic anemia , immune thrombocytopenia , neutropenia & rell cell aplasia. Laboratory Findings

6. Peripheral smear Lymphocytes are small, mature without nucleoli, smudged cells are present .
