2. CIRCLE – is the set of all points in a plane with same distance from a certain point. This point is called the center of the circle. Terms related to the Circle Chord – A line segement joining two points on the circle. Diameter – A chord that connects two points on the circle and passes through the center of the circle. Radius – A line segment from the center of the circle to any point on the circle. The radius of a circle is one-half the diameter Central Angle – An angle formed by two radii. Inscribed Angle – An angle whose vertex is on the circle.
