2. WHAT IS NUTRITION? NUTRITION IS PROCESS OF INTAKE OF FOOD, DIGESTION,ABSORPTION AND ITS UTILISATION WHILE NUTRIENTS ARE ELEMENTS OF FOOD LIKE- CARBOHYDRATE PROTEIN FAT ( Reserve food in animals) VITAMINS, MINERALS, ROUGHAGE,WATER

3. MODE OF NUTRITON IN PLANT 01-AUTOTROPHIC (Auto=self + Troph = To Feed) As we know green plants prepare their food by themselves with the help of process Photosynthesis. PHOTOSYNTHESIS ( Photo=Light + Synthesis=To form) Means to form something in presence of light The process of preparation of food by plant with the help of carbon di oxide, water in presence of Sunlight and Chlorophyll . ( Plants reserve food is starch)

4. 2-PARASITIC -( Para-other + site-live) organism who take nutrition from others living organisms are called parasite(they may cause disease) Eg .- Rafflesia,Cuscuta (Mosquito, leech)

5. 3-SAPROTROPH - Organism feed on dead and decaying organic matter are called saprotroph , for eg - Mushroom, Algae, Fungi. They are good for environment

6. 3-INSECTIVOROUS Plant who eat insects to fulfill their nutritional requirement. Eg - Pitcher plant, Sundew, bladderwort .

7. 4-SYMBIOSIS- The relationship between two or more organisms which benefit all of them. Eg -Lichen(combination of algae and fungi) (Commensalism-in animal)

8. Do we follow Symbiosis in our daily life….?

9. HOW NUTRIENTS ARE REPLENISHED IN THE SOIL? (Replenish=fulfill again) Naturally - By micro-organisms, Nitrogen cycle, Manually - By adding manure and fertilizers.
