2. LOGLINE
In a war with humans vs. Ai “The Creator,” is
an engineer of Ai which has created a weapon
to end the war. Joshua Taylor, an ex special
forces soldiers, is given a task to go behind
enemy lines and eliminate “The Creator.”

3. DIRECTOR/ WRITER
Gareth Edwards
Projects: Godzilla (2019), Star Wars Rouge One
Working on Godzilla Edwards has experience working on action
movies along with his experience with sci-fi movies with his work on
Rouge One.
Edwards would be able to attract the target audience because he’s
worked on two different mega franchises, Godzilla and Star Wars, and
was able to make some of the best movies in said franchises. With
being able to live up to and exceed those expectation theres no
reason the studio wouldn’t trust him on this film.

4. WRITER
Chris Weitz
Projects: Star Wars Rouge One and Cinderella (2015)
With experience working on those two previous projects Weitz is
no stranger to writing action movies.
Just like Edwards Weitz has worked on mega franchises like Star
Wars. Not only that but he screen wrote Cinderella (2015). With his
works on these two projects and more he was able to show the
studio that not only does he have a range of writing being able to
bing in audiences from across many different genres.

5. ACTOR
John David Washington
Projects: Tenent and BlacKkKlansman
Washington was right for this role because he has acted in several
successful box-office movies. Not just not but he has also won and
been nominated for awards for his ability to act.
Washington is able to draw in an audience because he’s been in
several big named box office movies. With his face being known
it’ll result in more people wanting and seeing the movie as a result.

6. ACTRESS
Gemma Chan
Projects: “Eternals” and “The Boy and The Heron”
Chan was right for this role because just like Washington she has been
in successful box office movies before. Not only live action movies
but she was a voice actress the Oscar winning anime movie “The Boy
and The Heron.” Showing she has incredible range with her voice.
Along with her experience in other sci-fi movies like “Eternals” she
has also acted in many asian movies giving her the ability to not only
attract sci-fi audiences but fans of asian films as-well.

7. While “The Creator” is similar to many other sci-fi films, especially popular ones about
Ai like The Matrix and Terminator. This film separates itself with its visuals and world
building. Not only that but instead of making the film about Ai as a whole or even the
human Ai war the main center conflict of this film is about the portrayal of an Ai child.
Doing all this while still sending across the messages of the ethical talking points of Ai,
war, and society. Another aspect that separates to from typical Ai films is that instead of
the typical cyber punk or space visuals and settings many of the scenes focus on nature
and and how the Ai has integrated themselves with nature much like humans.
