Common terminologies used in clinical settings 1. Abrasion: An area where skin or mucous membrane has been removed by rubbing or scraping. 2. Abscess: A pus filled cavity formed by tissue disintegration. 3. Achlorhydri : Absence of hydrochloric acid in gastric juice. 4. Acidemia : increased acidity in the blood. 5. Acidosis: A condition resulting from accumulation of acid in, or loss of base from the body. 6. Acne: An inflammatory disease of the skin with the formation of an eruption of papules or pustules.
