2. Major ongoing projects ICE Component Updation of Highway Manuals I, II, II & IV are taken up and preparation of Final Draft Manuals are in progress and will be completed in July 2021 Amendments of Tamil Nadu Highways Act, 2001 and Rules 2003, is in progress through the Consultant . Procurement of hardware for the Highways Department is in progress through Electronics Corporation of Tamil Nadu (ELCOT).

3. Continued… Procurement of agency for data collection is completed and the service will start in the July 2021 . National Informatics Centre(NIC) is being explored as the agency for the Development of Computerized Management Information System (CMIS) for TNRSP-II. This service envisages to Automate various LA administration, reporting and documentation process and Manage R&R/land records of every individual project affected persons (PAP ). IT-ICT Management Consultant has been engaged to study the existing systems available and submitted report on developing the Work Management System for the proposed e- pathai 2.0. The Work Management System for TNHD to be developed.

4. Continued… Procurement of Additional facilities for Training Centre through Highway Research Station(HRS) is in progress . As per Training calendar the implementation of training programs through Training Centre (HRS) is in progress. Development of e-library has been completed and O&M of e-library Software is on live. The e-books for e-Library portal to be procured . Procurement of Consultancy service for Preparation of State Level Transport and Logistics Strategy and Action Plan is in progress.
