Communication is a process which sharing of Information, opinions, ideas and belief Between two or more persons through a Continuous activity of speaking, listening And understanding. Every communication involves(AT least)one Sender, a message and a recipient. This may Sound simple, but communication is actually A very complex subject. The transmission of the message from sender to recipient can be affected by a huge range of things. These include our emotions, the cultural situation, the medium used to communicate, and even our location.
METHODS OF COMMUNICATION :- VERBAL COMMUNICATION. NON-VERBAL COMMUNICATION. VISUAL COMMUNICATION.
verbal communication The verbal communication is the most popular means Of sharing information or ideas. People use words to Exchange their thoughts, feelings and ideas with other. The effectiveness of the verbal communication depends on the tone of the speakers, clarity of speech, volume, speed, body language and the quality of words used in the conversation. In the case of the verbal communication, the feedback is immediate since there are a simultaneous transmission and receipt of the message by the sender and receiver respectively.
ADVANTAGES OF VERBAL COMMUNICATION It is quick in obtaining feedback once delivered. It saves time in communication . It is more reliable method of communication. It is an easy mode of communication in which you can exchange ideas by saying what you want and get a quick response . disadvantages OF VERBAL COMMUNICATION It has issues when communicating with distant people. It does not provided permanent record unless it is recorded with modern means of storages. This form of communication is not suitable for lengthy messages.

Non-verbal communication Non-verbal communication happens in the absence of any oral or composed words, it depends on different man-verbal prompts like body movements, gestures, facial expression, symbol, images, signal, charts etc. to express sentiments, attitudes or information. Non-verbal communication is conveying what we mean or feel without using spoken language .
ADVANTAGES OF NON-VERBAL COMMUNICATION IT CONVEYS CLEAR AND PRECISE MEANING TO THE RECIEVER. IT IS PRESENTABLE THROUGH VISUAL, AUDIO-VISUAL AND SILENT MEANS. IT IS HELPFUL IN COMMUNICATING WITH ILLITERATE PEOPLE . DISADVANTAGES OF NON-VERBAL COMMUNICATION IT CAN BE CONFUSING AS NO CLEAR MESSAGE IS CONVEYED. IN THE ABSENCE OF LANGUAGE THIS TYPE OF COMMUNICATION DO NOT CONVEY ACTUAL MEANING OF THE MESSAGE. LONG CONVERSATION ARE NOT POSSIBLE IN NON-VERBAL COMMUNICATION .

Visual communication Visual communication is the most effective way of passing information as the human mind process images very quickly. Therefore verbal communication can be made effective and more meaningful by using visual aids such as signs, graph, diagrams, film, posters, books, typography, screen-based media, charts.it helps us to understand complex concepts, quickly and easily, grabs attention, and builds relationship. Visual can also help you better understand complex ideas and data .
ADVANTAGES OF VERBAL COMMUNICATION Visual communication is more interactive. It brings clarity to oral communication. Good for the uneducated receiver. Can be used for presentations and sharing complex ideas. Information can be presented in a appealing and attractive way, stimulating people to read them. DISADVANTAGES OF VERBAL COMMUNICATION It cannot be used for detailed information. Some information cannot be communicated visually, such as policy, rules, etc. Information could be misinterpreted. It could be costly to prepare graphs, charts, cartoons, etc. Charts and graphs may be difficult for some people to interpret.
COMMUNICATION CYCLE SENDER :- the sender is the individual who wishes to communicate a message. MESSAGE :- the message is the information the sender wishes the audience to receive and understand. TRANSMISSION & NOISE (channel) :- the transmission of the message is the actual process of sending it. This could be done via various verbal and written communication channels, for example e-mail, letters, text, reports, face-to-face, telephone and video conferencing. RECEIVER :- the receiver tries to interpret the message to decoding the works and symbols used. FEEDBACK :- the receiver feedback their understanding of the message to the sender, to make sure tha the message they received was the same message as the sender interested. This feedback can be verbal or non-verbal response, for example saying yes or nodding the head.
COMMUNICATION BARRIERS Everything you need to know about the different barriers of communication. There are many communication barriers which tend to distort the message that pass between sender and receiver. It leads to misunderstanding and conflict among the organizational members. Managers frequently cite that communication breakdown is one of their most important problems. However, communication problems are often symptoms of more deeply rooted problems. For example, poor planning may be the cause of uncertainly about the direction of the firm. Similarly, a poorly designed organization structure may not clearly communicate organizational relationships. Vague performance standards may leave managers uncertain about what is expected of them.
