adopted in 1787. It replaced the Articles
of Confederation.
The current constitution of El Salvador
was adopted in 198. After been involved
in a civil war that caused multiple
damages to society.

The United States has a federal system.
It divides powers between the federal
government and individual states.
El Salvador also has a presidential
system. However, it is a unitary state
with power concentrated at the national
level
