1. ALTERNATIVE MEDICAL SYSTEMS a. AYURVEDA Ayurveda is an ancient system of medicine that originated in India over 5,000 years ago. It is a comprehensive approach to health that seeks to balance the body, mind, and spirit to promote overall well-being.

b. SIDDHA Siddha is a traditional system of medicine that originated in South India, particularly in the Tamil-speaking regions. The term "Siddha" is derived from the Tamil word“ Siddham " which means "perfection" or "achievement," and refers to the accomplished sages or “ Siddhars " who developed and practiced this medical tradition.
