3. Summarizing Give a brief statement of main points. When you read a text , make headings and then give a brief summary to those points.

4. Sequencing A particular order which relate event, movement and things like a story or movie.

5. Comparing and Contrast Comparing and contrast are way of looking at objects and thinking about how they are alike and different. It shows similarities and differences.

6. Self-Questioning After reading a text questions raised in your mind like what, how, where, when etc.

7. Problem solving After finding any difficulty in the text like meaning of words you solve these problems.

8. Relating background Knowledge You should relate your text with background knowledge like any information that is essential to understand a situation or problem.
