The Social Communication Sciences degree
program at the UMSA, where journalists are
trained, is currently one of the busiest, however,
its training is more theoretical than practical.
Furthermore, the gradual disappearance of
traditional media is a striking factor in the lack
of job opportunities for new journalists. On the
other hand, entering digital media is a
challenge for new professionals. In conclusion,
with its ups and downs, being a journalist is a
very exciting profession.
