2. SANIPES is the National Fisheries Health Agency, an
autonomous entity attached to the Ministry of Production.
According to law we are in charge of ruling, supervising and
inspecting the health and safety of fishery and aquaculture
resources and products through the whole productive chain,
including feed, additives and veterinary products intended for
aquaculture use.
We guarantee the supply of safe products not only for the Peruvian
population but also for consumers in countries importing Peruvian
products.
Itisalsoresponsibleforprotectingandpreservingthehealthstatus
ofaquaticanimaldiseases.
