Corporate Directors Leadership and Integrity (CDLI) course

SYNOPSIS The course aimed to empower civil servants, including Chief Executive Officers, Board Directors, Officers of State Statutory Bodies and government-linked companies in increasing the officers' understanding of their roles and ensuring the government's interest in state statutory bodies and state-linked companies was protected. In addition, it also raised the officers’ awareness on good governance and current corporate developments. Through this course, the officers could enhance their knowledge on present government policies and regulations as well as the role of state government-linked companies. 2

OBJECTIVES 1 Explain the role of Board Members based on the Malaysian Code on Corporate Governance 2 Develop the skills as Board Members in line with the provision under the Companies Act 2016 3 3 Enhance the effectiveness as Board Members in-line with the provisions under the Malaysian Code on Corporate Governance
