What is COVID-19 Pandemic COVID 19 or Corona virus disease 2019 is a viral disease caused by SARS-CoV-2 or novel corona virus. It is a highly virulent and contagious virus which mainly spreads by respiratory droplets. Other human corona virus caused outbreaks are MERS- CoV (2012) and SARS- coV (2003)
Initiation of the Pandemic December 2019 a pneumonia outbreak was reported in WUHAN city of China On 31 December 2019, the outbreak was traced to a new strain of corona virus which was given an interim name 2019-nCOV Later it was renamed SARS-CoV-2 by the international committee on taxonomy of viruses By March,2020 COVID-19 affected almost all countries of the world

Effects of COVID-19 Pandemic Mental Health Bereavement, isolation, loss of income and fear are triggering mental health conditions or exacerbating existing ones Healthcare Negligence Patients with other disease and health problem are being neglected Environmental Effect Due to slowdown of social and economic activities, air quality has improved in many cities with a reduction in water pollution in different parts of the world.

POST PANDEMIC CHALLENGES Getting Life back on track
Revitalizing the Economy The economy of the world has been reshaped to meet the needs of people in this pandemic. Our economy has been gravely affected by the pandemic . The situation is dire and is not getting better till the pandemic is behind us. This is a time for governments to turn their attention to reimagining a stronger economic future by very deliberately addressing the vulnerabilities the crisis has exposed, and making a much stronger economic growth
Improvement of HealthCare Facilities During the upsurge of the pandemic, hospitals were overcrowded with patients and there was a shortage of well-trained staff, healthcare facilities, and even adequate hygiene and safety measures. After pandemic, there should be a new initiative for more hospitals and improving the existing healthcare facilities . It will prove to be a tough challenge for Bangladesh as we lack in both manpower and resource .
Getting people Employed This issue has been lurking around before, and rose to a whole new level during the epidemic. At the initial stage of the pandemic, a huge number of people lost their jobs. Another alarming issue is rising as students are graduating with predicted grades and auto-pass system, which is likely to cause massive confusions at time of hiring. However, due to the crisis, home office has been introduced and is progressing. At this hour, the job market is expanding at a slow and quiet rate . .
Re-opening Educational Institutions Due to the risks of spreading, all educational institutions have been closed for a year, heavily disrupting the educational flow. Although measures have been taken for online education, equal access to tech remains a barrier. The need for reopening their institution is higher than ever. But it will prove to be a great challenge to make up for the gap year . Moreover, mass opening of educational institutions while maintain hygiene and health regulations will also be very challenging.

Conclusion The pandemic situation is not ended yet. Though situation has improved but there is still more to come. This pandemic taught us how we human are weak to the tiny infectious agent. Modern technology ,weaponry, nuclear bombs , billions of dollar could not defeat this pandemic. Whole world needs to work together to overcome the pandemic situation. The pandemic situation also created opportunities in various aspect like e- commercing and online education. Pandemic situation also reduced carbon emission and thus improved environment and nature.
