therefore they don’t go into the film completely blinded of what to expect.

My Quad poster includes a group of red balloons in the middle of a dark field
at night, where we can see the moon shining in the background. I picked red
balloons due to its already known relation to clowns, mainly due to the hit film
IT, which my audience will recognise easily. I have decided to include the
moon due to the ominous atmosphere it brings, and the tension that comes
with a empty field during the night, instant horror connections. The font I will
be using for this poster is Haunted Hill by Sinister Fonts. This font has rigid
writing, and pointed ends, creating an off-putting look, continuing this uneasy
viewing.
My Teaser Poster includes a plain white background, which creates an
ominous, empty feeling in the poster, as if something was missing. with a
sharp, butcher- Esque knife, which reflects half of the clowns, my films
antagonists, face. This provides a ‘mascot’ type figure for my film, and a
character people can instantly recognise and relate to my film. This also
instantly establishes the horror theme, as we associate clowns with the genre.
My theatrical poster includes the same field as my quad, and the same knife as
my Teaser. This allows all the posters to be linked and related by the audience.
It is also set at night, and we see one red balloon and a plain, shining silver
knife into the ground. This created a mysterious ominous feeling of
questioning throughout my audience, and allows room for interpretation for
why the knife, balloon and the field are connected. My billing block will be in a
simple, Universal accreditation which allows it to blend in naturally, and
leaves more attention to my title and the images within my posters. With this
I am also following another professional, successful industry, which will allow
said success to follow in my film. I would have to add the 15 age certificate to
inform audience on who can/ cannot watch.
