3. Cruelty by husband and relatives Men and in-laws beat their daughter in law for not doing something up to their expectation, that kind of domestic violence comes under Crime on Women. Kidnapping & Abduction People kidnap and abduct women for their physical sense gratification and for money, as women are supposed to be weaker section of our society which is a complete crime under section 362 .

4. Assault Assault is basically any act of gender- based violence that in, or is likely to result in, physical, sexual or psychological harm or suffering to women. Women are often assaulted by males, bosses at their workplaces and in-laws. It is a crime that shouldn’t be practised, women are also human being. Rape We are all familiar with the word ‘Rape’, it is sexual abuse of a women. It is the biggest crime and rapist should be punished because this kind of practise can kill a women. In case she is not dead then she’ll suffer emotionally silently . It is the biggest crime.

5. Dowry deaths Women are often murdered or are forced to commit suicide by in-laws for the dowry. Attempt to commit Rape We all accept that rape is crime but sometimes we neglect the issue of committing rape, so even attempt to commit rape is a crime on women and is a matter of concern. It shouldn’t be ignored, if ignored can lead to a very big problem.

11. Steps to be taken to fight this issue There are mainly 3 steps which should be taken to fight this issue. These are: Prevention Prohibition Redressal It is the step taken before anything happens. Like women can join self defence programs. They should have a knowledge about NGOs supporting women so that if anything happens they can take support . Prohibition means putting a ban or to stop something. Women should limit her boundaries and she has to make sure nobody dare to cross them. If somebody crosses her boundaries she must complaint about it and police should provide her a safe environment . Redressal means steps taken after the crime. Criminal should be punished strictly as women are not dolls with which they can play around. Women should be provided a friendly environment .
