Adequate Ventilation & Oxygenation PF Ratio > 200 (Arterial Oxygen Partial Pressure to Fractional Oxygen) FiO2 < 40 (Fraction of Inspired Oxygen) PEEP < 5 (Positive End Expiratory Pressure) RSBI < 105 (Rapid Shallow Breathing Index) SBT >30-120 min . (Spontaneous Breathing Trial) * ABG (Arterial Blood Gas)

Computation PF Ratio >200 P/F Ratio=PaO2/FiO2 RSBI <105 RSBI=RR/TV

Spontaneous Breathing Trial (SBT)

Other Criteria Effective Cough Low/Stop Sedation GCS >8-10 Cuff Leak T <38 Causative condition resolved/Under control
