Advanced Encryption Standard(AES)
By the end of this lecture, we will have understood the basics of AES,the difference between AES and
DES,the AES Structure and the AES Parameters,
It tests which is not a secure encryption standard. It came up by NIST in 2001.
It’s a symmetric block cipher. 128 bits blocks are used.
4 transformations are:Subsitute bytes,shift rows,mix columns and add round key.
Round1 to N-1 has 4 transformations
Round N has only 3 transformations:
No. of Rounds:: Key Size(in bits)
10::128
12::192
14::256
